Herbal Body Butter

This is a very simple herbal-infused body butter recipe. As someone with very sensitive, dry, vata skin, I've tried so many products that haven't done the trick. I decided to create my own using ingredients that are the most soothing to me. You can infuse any herb and make this custom to your own needs :)  I chose:

Rosemary: Helps stimulate skin renewal
Cannabidiol: Strong anti-inflammatory and high in Omega 3 and 6, both which are very beneficial to the care of eczema
Sage: Anti-inflammatory and anti-aging
Lavender: Cooling, soothing and smells so good!

Ingredients:
~1/3 Cup Coconut oil
~1/8 Cup Cocoa Butter
~1 Tablespoon Hemp Seed Oil (Optional)
~Herbs that you feel called to

Cut up all herbs and simmer for at least 2 hours with the coconut oil in a double boiler.

Strain the coconut oil into a pot using a cheese cloth or mesh colander. Melt the cocoa butter and add the hemp seed oil. Stir.

Refrigerate the mixture for about 30 minutes then blend with a hand or immersion blender.

Enjoy your body butter :) Coconut oil can become runny when warm, so store your jarred product in a cool, dark place.
